Culture Wars/Politics

ITV Dossier on the Catholic Vote.pdf, October 2004. This was a project of mine for Inside the Vatican. It contains an Interview with Archbishop Raymond Burke by my Colleague Tom Szyszkiewicz, articles by Archbishop Charles Chaput, Archbishop John Myers, Judie Brown, Farley Clinton, Austin Ruse, and interviews by me with Steve Mosher and Ambassador Ray Flynn as well as a chronology by Tom Szyszkiewicz of the controversy over pro-abort Catholic politicians receiving Communion. There was also an article, the inclusion of which I strongly protested entitled “Why We Will Not Vote” by Mark and Louise Zwick. My thesis was that Catholic must vote and vote according to Catholic teachings. The Zwicks argued, wrongly in my view, citing what they saw a Catholic reasons why they could not vote. Though it was my project I was overruled by the editor.
