How I got Involved with Limu

For quite a while I have been struggling and praying with both health issues and financial issues. It appears God may have answered those prayers in one package. As you may know, I am no businessman, much less a salesman. I am more the artistic/creative spiritual type. It is far easier for me to explain the circumincession of the Holy Spirit in the life of the Holy Trinity than read an insurance form. I can only tell you what happened to me.

Last March I was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes. Something I certainly don’t want! And I told God so. I was determined not to have this forever. I was telling someone about it and he said, “You need to talk to Randy. Randy has been drinking this stuff called Limu, and it made a dramatic difference in his blood sugar levels.” Somewhat skeptical but open-minded I met Randy, a motorcycle riding gentleman of about 60 and he told me his blood sugar readings were sometimes upwards of 300 (much higher than mine).

He said he started drinking this stuff called Limu and one day when he checked his blood sugar  a towel had fallen across his meter so he could only see the last two digits. He sighed and said, “This stuff doesn’t work, It’s still 296.” Then he moved the towel and saw to his astonishment that the actual reading was 96. Only 96. I asked Randy if it would stop the wretched tingling numbness and extreme sensitivity to pain in my feet. He said, “It stopped mine.” Now I was interested. That neuropathy had been driving me crazy and keeping me awake at night.

I told him I was interested and he said he was a Limu distributor and that a single bottle retailed for $50. I groaned. I said I’d have to wait until I had $50 I could spend. A month or two passed and I said I was willing to try it, I knew of nothing medical that could stop the horrible tingling.

One bottle lasts about two weeks and the Limu Company recommends you try it for at least 90 days, to see if any improvements occur. Limu is not a drug, but a food—a superfood—so the company cannot make grand health claims or promises due to FDA regulations, but I was willing to try anything.

After I started drinking it the foot symptoms were indeed reduced. I finished the bottle in about two and a half weeks and could not afford to buy more, but I was impressed enough that I really wanted to continue. That was in the spring.

Limu is sold via multi-level marketing, and in early September I signed up as a distributor under Randy’s sponsorship. I just wanted to have it for my own use, and if I sold some, fine. Again, I’m not a “marketing type.” I thought everyone would think I was a sucker taken in by a scheme, but I didn’t care because it relieved my pain and I just wanted back on it.  Back in the Spring after I had finished the one bottle of Limu I had a check-up and my doctor said, I’m really proud of you, your blood sugar average has dropped 100 points.”

Was it the Limu? I’m certainly not the king of diet and exercise, despite my good intentions, and I had been on some medication. But I am convinced the Limu certainly played a role—even one bottle’s worth. Anyway, I’m not much for rah-rah, pep-rally marketing that usually accompanies these kinds of marketing operations, as I said, I’m not a salesman. But going into my house one day I was chatting with a neighbor who was complaining of a medical condition and, almost sheepishly, I mentioned the Limu. I had just signed up as a distributor and my first shipment hadn’t arrived yet. To my amazement he said, “I want some of that. Fifty dollars you say?” he reached in his pocket and pulled out a wad of bills and peeled off two twenties and a ten and handed them to me. I said, “I don’t even have it yet!” he replied, “Well, when it arrives just bring a bottle over.”

I began thinking, “Maybe I can earn some money with this... I shouldn’t be so quick to think others would be a skeptical as I was.”

Anyway, I am sharing this discovery of mine with you on the possibility that it may be mutually beneficial. Just an added note to clarify the purchasing process:

For those of you interested in ordering Limu, Here are some simple steps in case it is confusing. Click on the one that says “order.” You will be taken to an order site. If you are entirely new to Limu click on the link that says “Please continue to the New Customers Page.” Which gives three options to join as a distributor: for a one pack (4 bottles), three-pack (twelve pack) and a six pack (48 bottles).
